FAQs

1. Do you have a minimum order quantity as die casting mass production?

We don't have a strict MOQ. However, please note that for orders under 1000 pieces, the unit price will be relatively higher to cover the fixed machine setup and tooling installation costs.

If you could share your estimated annual volume, we can offer a better pricing tier.

Please feel free to share your drawings (STP/STEP/IGS format) and your target quantity, so we can check and quote accurately.

2. Can you supply the relevant documentation?

Yes, we can provide most documentation including Certificates of material analysis / Conformance; and other export documents where required.

We usually send copies of COC, related inspection report, RoHs and Reach compliance and others by email. we also can send original documents if customers require.

3. What is the typical lead time for custom aluminum die casting components?

For custom die cast aluminum projects, Kingrun offers a fast-track prototyping and die casting mass production service.  CNC-machined samples from solid blocks can be delivered in 7-15 days. If a formal die-casting tool is required, the mold fabrication and first article inspection (FAI) typically take 25-35 days, depending on the complexity of the aluminum components.

4. What kinds of payment methods do you accept?

We generally accept payments via T/T (Telegraphic Transfer). Our payment terms are structured as follows:

  • Tooling (Molds): 50% deposit, and the 50% balance is due after the first trial samples are approved.
  • Production Orders: 50% deposit upon placing the order, and the 50% balance must be cleared prior to shipment.

Please talk with us case by case, we 'd pleasure to answer you any questions.

5. Do you guarantee safe and secure delivery of products?

Yes, we always use high quality packaging stuffs such as cardboard box ,plastic pallet, export-grade plywood pallet .We also use specialized hazard packing for dangerous goods. Specialist packaging and non-standard packing requirements may incur an additional cost.

6. How about the shipping fees?

Shipping fees are not fixed and vary based on several factors:

  1. The total weight and volume (CBM) of the order.
  2. The destination country and specific delivery address.
  3. Your preferred shipping method (Express, Air freight, or Sea freight). We are flexible with shipping terms (such as EXW, FOB, CIF, or DDP). You can either use your own freight forwarder, or we can provide you with a competitive shipping quote from our reliable logistics partners once your order details are confirmed.
7. Which aluminum alloy is best for die-cast heat sinks: ADC12 or A380?

While ADC12 is highly popular in Asia for its excellent castability and mechanical strength, A380 is the standard in the US market for general-purpose heat sinks. However, if your application requires maximum thermal conductivity, A360 or AlSi10Mg are superior choices. At Kingrun, we provide customized material analysis to balance cooling efficiency with structural integrity for your specific electronic enclosures.

8. Why choose Kingrun for low-volume aluminum die casting?

Kingrun offers high flexibility for small-to-medium batch production (MOQ starting at 100~500 pcs), helping startups and SMEs reduce initial tooling costs and accelerate time-to-market with our rapid prototyping services.
